Chemical Peels

Chemical peels improve the skin’s appearance by causing it to separate, peel off and allow new skin to regenerate. Wrinkles and fine lines caused by sun damage, aging, and hereditary factors can be reduced or eliminated by the use of chemical peeling agents. Chemical peeling can be an effective treatment to reduce or remove age spots, freckles, blotchiness, dullness, and discoloration.

Dr. Mullans and her staff have extensive experience in chemical peels designed to improve the texture and appearance of your skin.

Infini RF Microneedling

Microneedling with Radio Frequency is a minimally invasive treatment to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and acne scars, while stimulating collagen growth for volume and skin tightening.

Here’s how it works. The treatment uses a handheld device with microneedles and it is pressed against the skin to send radiofrequency (RF) energy to multiple layers below the surface. The combination of microneedling and RF energy delivered directly to the dermis, the second layer of our skin, provides the heat energy needed to encourage collagen growth and tissue tightening.

Ask Dr. Mullans whether Microneedling with Radio Frequency can address your concerns.

Microneedling

Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, increases the skin’s natural ability to produce collagen and elastin. A small instrument with dozens of fine, short needles is put against the skin to create microscopic “injuries.” They trigger the skin’s natural healing process to produce new collagen and to restore a smooth and clearer complexion.

Most of our patients see an immediate glow and full improvement takes from two to four weeks. Typically, we do a series of treatments on patients depending on the condition of the skin. The procedure is used to treat fine lines and wrinkles, large pore size, acne scars, sun damage, texture issues and age spots.

Platelet Rich (PRP) Therapy

Our body has the ability to heal itself with growth factors that are found in the bloodstream. Platelet-rich plasma therapy – or PRP – utilizes your own blood platelets to spur the production of collagen to improve and rejuvenate your skin.

Here’s how it works. About two teaspoons of blood are drawn from your body and separated by a centrifuge in our office. The platelet portion that contains natural growth factors is separated and applied to your skin.

PRP with Microneedling

The platelets are topically applied to the skin immediately following the microneedling procedure. It travels to the skin’s deep layers through the microchannels created during the procedure.

PRP Injections

The platelets can be injected in localized areas of the skin to address deep wrinkles or other concerns. It can be used with a dermal filler for even greater results.

Ultherapy

Ultherapy is a non-invasive procedure that lifts and tightens the neck, chin and brow and improves the appearance of lines and wrinkles on the décolletage. It also addresses jowl and neck sagging, and lines formed from years of sun damage.

Ultherapy uses ultrasound waves to trigger the body’s own regeneration of new collagen that will lift and tighten the skin. Patients say they see results gradually and naturally and their skin appears and feels tightened.
